The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced a NACWC Internship Scheme for the students & professionals working in the field of chemical safety & security. Selected individuals will get a change to do an internship at National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC). The primary objective of the program is to motivate students & young professionals to work in the field of chemical safety & security.
Benefits of the NACWC Internship Scheme:
- Short-term exposure to chemical industry, national & international organizations working in the field of chemical weapons
- Interns will be given training related to toxic chemicals & stop misuse of them
- They get experience related to working in the chemical facilities
- To create awareness about peaceful use of chemicals
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students of the under-graduation courses from the recognized universities or institutes in India
- Students of 3rd year & 4th year bachelor degree program in Chemical Engineering & Technology
- Professionals working in chemical safety & security industry or Indian Chemical Council

Total Internship Positions: 3
Important Dates:
- Last Date of Application: 15th April for students & 5th August for professionals (every year)
- Finalization of List: 20th April for students & 20th August for professionals (every year)
- Internship Duration: May-July for students & September to December for professionals (every year)
