Narotam Sekhsaria Engineering Scholarship

The Narotam Sekhsaria scholarship is a non-profit organization set up with strong sense of social commitment. The main vision of the foundation is to promote the intellectual excellence and recognize aspirant’s minds. This organization provide scholarship to meritorious students for graduation studies in Engineering at prestigious institutes in India. The objective is to create a community of scholars, where every member can draw on each other’s strength and tap each other’s knowledge. The scholarships are open to students throughout the country and across the fields of Engineering. The foundation awards interest-free loan scholarships to Indian students with a consistently good academic record.

Benefits of the Narotam Sekhsaria Engineering Scholarship:

• Excellence Award & Certificates of Merit: One Excellence Award of Rs. 1 lakh and two Certificates of Merit of Rs. 50,000/- each are offered to outstanding students from amongst the final year students of colleges included in the scholarship programme
• Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships: 100 Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships up to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- each will be awarded to the undergraduate students of engineering colleges included in the scholarship programme

Required Eligibility and Conditions for Applying Narotam Sekhsaria Engineering Scholarship:

1. Student should be Indian
2. Student should have obtained 85% & above aggregate marks in class XII (HSC or equivalent)
3. Student should have obtained 65% and above aggregate marks in the previous year
4. Student should have gross family income less than Rs. 6,00,000/- per annum
5. Student should have overall meritorious performance throughout the course
6. The student should be studying in final year of their Engineering course from one of the thirteen college selected by the foundation which is as follow:

• Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT)
• Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC)
• J. Somaiya College of Engineering – Vidyavihar (KJSCE)
• Dwarkadas J. Sangavi College of Engineering (DJSCOE)
• Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT)
• Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI)
• H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering (MHSSCOE)
• Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B)
• Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC)
• Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE)
• Father Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (Fr CRCE) Bandra
• Father Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology (Fr CRIT) Vashi

Document Required for Applying Narotam Sekhsaria Engineering Scholarship:

1. Mark sheets of Std. 10^th , 12^th and all years of the undergraduate programme
2. Score cards of any qualifying examination taken
3. Copy of the admission letter(s) from the university, if obtained
4. Reference letters (in a sealed envelope)
5. Statement of the course fee and any other financial document (this would include any other letter indicating the receipt of a scholarship, other source of funding, fee waiver etc)
6. Attested copy of the passport
7. One passport size photograph
8. Latest Income Tax Returns of parents

Application Procedure:

1. The mode of application is online
2. The candidate is required to complete the registration online at http://engg.nsfoundation.co.in/Home/Scholarships Upon registration, the login credentials will be sent to the registered email ID
3. Once the registration is complete, an application fee of Rs.500/- is payable either online through Net Banking or offline by sending a Demand Draft issued in favour of the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation
4. Application filled should submitted online and upload all the documents
