Why do we need to issue insecticide selling license?
License means to give permission. Insecticide Manufacturing License allows people to sell insecticide. For selling of insecticides, the license is required in Maharashtra
Documents required applying for insecticide selling license:
- Note: All the documents submitted by applicant should be duly attested by gazetted officer or notary
- 7/12 extract/8A from Grampanchyat/Municipal Corporation (Godown)
- Employee’s documents (for Agriculture, Household, and Pest Control Purpose) (a) qualification/Degree Certificate, (b)Pan Card, (c)Address Proof
- Copies of manufacturing license of insecticides, (Sec.3, Rule 9,10)
- Challan of fees paid(Rs. 500 per Insecticide per place for Urban area and Rs. 150 for Rural )
- Copies of all CIB-RC
- Specimen copies of labels and leaflets
- For Commercial Pest Control (Restricted Purpose) following documents required either for applicant or Operator, (a) Degree Certificate, (b) Minimum 15 days training course certificate from central food and Technological Research Institute, Mysore or Indian grain storage Institute, Hapur or National Plant Protection Training Institute, Hyderabad, (c) Certificate of Accreditation of Fumigation Operator from plant Protection Adviser, (d) Certificate of Registration of Fumigation Agency from Plant Protection Adviser
- Open market sales in Maharashtra last two years
- Sales Plan Current Financial Year & Next Year
- Quality performance in Maharashtra
- Name of person authorized to sign the principal certificate. (Rule 10(4) (A) (i)). Copies all valid principle certificates of all manufacturers
- Name of the misbranded insecticides along with laboratory testing report and the action taken by the concerned authority if any
- Undertaking regarding sampling at going down a level on stamp paper Rs. 100 in prescribed format
- Dealers Network in Maharashtra
- Name of responsible person (Sec. 33(1)) on stamp Rs. 100/- in prescribed format (for manufacturer & Marketer)
- Letter from the concerned Director of Agriculture regarding the Quality performance certificate within concerned state (last 2 yrs)
- The undertaking of manufacturers regarding Quality Assurance on stamp paper Rs. 100/- in prescribed format
- If rental place provide copy of agreement (min. 2 Years)(Godown)
- Copy of shop Act license / NOC from Grampanchyat / Municipal Corporation (Godown)
- Spot inspection report of Insecticide Inspector (Godown)
Online procedure to apply for insecticide selling license:
- Applicant needs to visit Aaple Sarkar official website. Click next link to visit Aaple Sarkar website Click to Visit Aaple Sarkar Website
- Post visiting this link a window will appear which will look like the same image posted below. Then click on Right to Service (RTS) button
- Then next window will appear which will look like image posted below
- Then click on login or create new user account. Once it created a login using credentials. Window will appear which will look like posted image below
- Then search for Agriculture tab and click on it. Then click on Select department and click on The image will appear which will look posted image below
- Click on Pesticide Selling License. A window will appear this will be an application form. Fill it carefully and click on submit
- Post that in future you can use this account for other processes like checking of Application status, Printing of Application forms, Renewal application etc
Fees:
- 500 per insecticide, maximum to Rs. 7500 for urban and Rs. 100 per insecticide, maximum to Rs. 7500 for rural applicant can pay online
