Pre-Recruitment Soldier & Police training for SC & Nav-Buddha Candidate launched by the government of Maharashtra in association with Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. Under this scheme, the government provides Pre-Recruitment training to Scheduled Castes and Nav-Buddha Candidates for Soldier & police recruitment in Maharashtra state. The goal of the scheme is to uplift people of scheduled casts and Nav-Buddha by giving them pre-recruitment police and soldier training. The Selected students are provided free lodging & Boarding facility during the training period. It also provides free uniforms required for training. Government selects those candidates who fulfill police and solider recruitment criteria. The candidate must have 165 cm height for Men and 155 cm for Women. Candidate should be 18 to 25 years to apply for training. The minimum qualification required for pre-recruitment training is 12th std. The main objective of the schemes to uplift lives of the scheduled caste and Nav-Buddha communities who are economically weak and below the poverty line. This scheme helps to get employment for SC/Nav-Buddha candidates. The applicant should submit the application on plain paper to the Assistant Commissioner of the district social welfare along with necessary documents.

Eligibility criteria for Pre-Recruitment Soldier & Police Training Scheme:
- Candidate must be from scheduled castes & Nav-Buddha
- Candidate should be resident of Maharashtra state
- Candidate should be 18 to 25 years age group
- Candidate Height should be 165 cm for Men and 155 cm for Women
- Male candidate must have 79 cm chest (The whole chest 84 cm)
- Candidate must have completed 12th pass
- Candidate should be healthy and able
- Candidate should be fulfilled physical criteria required for police and solider training

- Identity card such as Aadhaar card
- Caste certificate
- Resident proof/Certificate,
- Employment Exchange registration certificate

- Applicant should submit the application on plain paper along will all documents to Assistant Commissioner, District Social welfare office in Maharashtra
