Haryana is promoting cashless economy in a big way in the state. In order to achieve this, the Chief Minister of Haryana Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar (Government of Haryana) has taken a lead and start Cashless Transactions Scheme in Haryana to transfer appreciation amount of Rs. 5 to each citizen of Haryana, who had carried out at least one cashless transaction.

Under this scheme, Haryana Government has started a website cashless Haryana.nic.in to avail benefits of the Lucky draw for cashless transactions in Haryana. The amount for lucky draw is between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000 each. The government of Haryana has initiated a vigorous campaign on motivating and facilitating Haryana citizens towards digital payments. In this scheme, the government transferred Rs. 5 as an appreciation amount to each citizen of the state. Regarding this scheme, the government promotes interesting slogan called “Mera Mobile Mera Batua, Desha Ma Desh Haryana, Ib Sabko Cashless Banana” in Haryana state. The government took the very good initiative in Haryana as a first cashless transaction state in the Country, and more importantly, this transformation would facilitate the creation of a transparent and corruption-free economic environment in the country.

Benefits of Cashless Transactions in Haryana:

  • Benefits of transfer appreciation amount of Rs. 5 to each citizen of Haryana
  • The amount for lucky draw is between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000 each
  • In addition to VLEs, Re. 1/- per transaction will be given to the motivator/facilitator outside banks to promote cashless transactions

The government of India has identified following five key methods of digital payments:

  • Debit/Credit Cards / Internet Banking
  • UPI (Unified Payment Interface) – 28 national banks have on-boarded with VPA (Virtual Payment Account)
  • USSID *99# (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) with MMID ( Mobile Money Identifier) and Mobile PIN (MPIN)
  • e-Wallet like SBI Buddy, PNB MobiPay, ICICI iMobile, PayTM, Freecharge, Mpaisa, Airtel Money, Oxygen, Mobiquick etc.
  • AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) using PoS devices and Aadhaar / biometric authentication

Eligibility criteria for Cashless Transactions in Haryana:

  1. Applicant should be resident of Haryana state
  2. People who upload details of cashless transactions will be given an appreciation amount of Rs.5 from the State government
  3. At least one cashless transaction is compulsory to get avail benefits for this scheme

Documents required for Cashless Transactions in Haryana:

  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank account details

How to apply for Cashless Transactions in Haryana:

  1. Citizen visit Cashless Transactions official site http://cashlessharyana.nic.in/Default.aspx
  2. Now, Citizens should log in to the website by entering User Name “guest” and Password “guest
  3. Once login successfully, fill the essential details such as Name, Mobile No., Transaction Type, Transaction Source, Transaction ID, Transaction Amount, Bank IFSC Code, Account No. etc
  4. once after filling the details just click on save button
