Objectives:
- To felicitate & appreciate all those who has done an exceptional work helping people in distress
- To encourage them
- To encourage others to contribute towards & be part of the disaster relief
NSBAPP Awards & Prices:
- There are 3 awards
- Both institutions & individuals can apply
- Certificate & prize money of Rs. 51 lakh for institutions
- Certificate & prize money of Rs. 5 lakh for individuals
- For institutions prize money can be used only for the disaster management activities
Eligibility for NSBAPP Awards:
- Open only to the Indian nationals & institutions
- NGOs, voluntary organizations, corporate entities, academic/research institutions, response/ uniformed forces can apply under institution category
- They must have worked on disaster management like prevention, mitigation, preparedness, rescue, response, relief, rehabilitation, research, innovation or early warning related work in India
