The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shree Adityanath Yogi has announced Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvahit Bima Yojana to help poor and farmers of the state who are critically ill. Government of UP will give an assistance of Rs. 2.5 lakh. Government will also provide assistance of Rs. 1 lakh for artificial limbs who need them. Anyone who’s anual income if less than Rs. 75 thousand can apply for the Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvahit Bima Yojana. The state health department announced the official notification of the scheme. The scheme was actually launched by former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and was called as Samajwadi Kisan Aur Sarvahit Bima Yojana.
Who can apply for Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvahit Bima Yojana? Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvahit Bima Yojana?
- Residents of the Uttar Pradesh
- Anyone between age of 18 to 75
- All those who`s annual income is less than Rs. 75,000
- Anyone who is critically ill
- Anyone who need artificial limbs
How to apply for the Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvahit Bima Yojana?
- Anyone who is critically ill, consult local PGI or KGMU Medical Institutes in the state
- PGI or KGMU Medical Institutes will provide the treatment
- Within 10 days of the treatment the PGI or KGMU Medical Institutes will provide bill details to the government health department and insurance companies
- Within next 45 days the insurance company will make the payments
