Tamil Nadu government has come up with a scheme named ‘Uzhavar-Aluvalar Thodarbu Thittam’. This scheme is mainly designed to bridge the gap between the farmers and the village panchayat wherein the farmers will get new crop technology and its usage as well as the authorities will get the condition of crops. Under this scheme new extension system will be created. A group of farmers will be selected in each village panchayat and accordingly they will be given training to use new technology in agriculture and the group of farmers will then be a bridge in between the authorities and the other farmers.
