Vocational Training Scheme for Women launched by Ministry of Women and Child Development (Women Economic Development Corporation), Government of Gujarat. The main objective of this scheme to help women living in unfavorable conditions. Under this scheme women are trained in the fields to Dress Making, Block Printing, Electrical Appliances Repairing, Mehndi Designing, Embroidery and Basic Computer Training etc. so that such women can earn bread and butter or can get economic stability and inspiration to live a joyful life. An initiative of Gujarat government helping several women to be empowered and self-reliant. Total 6000 beneficiary women are trained every year. All women in unfavorable circumstances and resident of Gujarat is eligible under this scheme. • Vocational Training Scheme intensively focuses on providing economic rehabilitation to women in unfavorable circumstances
• Under this scheme, women are provided training for following trades like Dress Making, Block Printing, Electrical Appliances Repairing, Mehndi Designing, Embroidery and Basic Computer Training
• Women in unfavorable condition gets free training to earn bread and butter
• With the help of this scheme, women can stable themselves
• The scheme would be implemented with the help of partner NGOs working with such women

Required eligibility and conditions applying for Vocational Training Scheme for Women:

1. Women resident of Gujarat
2. Women in unfavorable circumstances are eligible
3. Women belong to BPL (Below Poverty Line)
4. Disable women are eligible
5. Women of all category can apply
6. Rural and urban women are eligible

Document required applying for Vocational Training Scheme for Women:

1. Aadhar card
2. BPL Ration card
3. Passport size photograph
4. Residence proof: Domicile certificate, Residence certificate etc.
5. Identity proof: Voter ID, Birth certificate
6. PAN card
7. Application form (available at same office)
8. Age proof
9. Income certificate
10. Caste certificate if women belongs to SC/ST
11. Disability certificate if women is disable
12. Note: Other documents may require
