Atal Jaldhara Yojana: Free of cost water supply connections for all in Tripura

The Tripura Government has launched Atal Jaldhara Yojana to provide free of cost pure drinking water supply for all the households in the state. The objective of the scheme is to make sure everyone in Tripura has drinking water and to make the state free of water born diseases. The scheme is named after the former prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee under the PM Narendra Modi`s New India initiative. Clean water is everyone`s right and it the responsibility of the state government to provide clean and pure water to each of the households.

How to apply for the free water supply & application forms: There is no need to apply separately for the scheme. Citizens of the state just need to apply for normal water supply connections. Water supply connection application forms are be available with the state water supply departments / municipal corporations / panchyat offices. Fill in the application forms, attach required documents and submit the form in the same office where you got the application form.

Atal Jaldhara Yojana is a free water supply scheme for the development of the scheme and to make sure that the each of the households in the state has basic facilities. The Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb announced the scheme.
