Chief Minister’s Civil Services Coaching Scheme (CMCS)

To provide free coaching to the students to prepare them for civil services examinations

Manipur government has come up with Chief Minister’s Civil Services Coaching Scheme (CMCS) for the young civil service aspirants in the state. Under this scheme the aspirants will get free coaching for various civil services exams. This coaching will be provided by the best mentors from Alternative Learning System (ALS) Delhi under state sponsorship. On November 9, 2021 Chief Minister N. Biren launched face to face classes under this scheme. These classes temporarily will be conducted at State Academy of Training (SAT), Takyelpat and then will be moved to permanent place at Iroishemba. With the implementation of this scheme the students will not have to move to any other state for coaching and no student will be left out from becoming a civil servant due to financial constraints.

  • Land for construction of the complex is already identified by the government.
  • Students will get quality coaching in the state itself and will not have to spend huge money and move/ travel to any other state for coaching.

  • Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs. 2.80 crores from the state plan for this scheme.
