To provide a medical insurance coverage to maintain life-health balance of people in the state

On March 18, 2021 CM Ashok Gehlot announced the implementation date of the much-awaited universal health scheme named ‘CM Chiranjeevi Yojana’. This scheme was announced by the CM on February 24, 2021 in his state budget speech. Thereby it will begin across the state from May 1, 2021. This scheme tends to cover all the families in the state. It will provide the families in the state with annual medical insurance benefits up to Rs. 5 lakhs. This coverage will turn out to be boon for all the residents. The total outlay of this scheme is estimated as Rs. 3500 crores for this financial year.
