Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will be soon launching Housing Scheme offering 10,300 newly built flats. The online applications for the DDA flats in various categories & localities will be available upon official launch of the scheme. The housing scheme is presently under construction. The pending water supply & other work is expected to be completed by July next year.

Categories: The primary objective of the DDA Housing Scheme is to provide affordable housing to the different sections of the society. The newly built flats are available for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) LIG (Lower Income Group), MIG (Middle Income Group) & HIG (High Income Group).
Number of Flats & Localities under DDA Housing Scheme 2019:
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 960 flats at Narela
- LIG (Lower Income Group): 8,383 flats at Narela & Vasant Kunj
- MIG (Middle Income Group): 579 at Vasant Kunj
- HIG (High Income Group): 448 flats at Vasant Kunj
The announcement was in the presentation of DDA’s budget for the year 2019-20. The DDA expenditure of Rs. Rs 6,968 crores is been set for the current financial year 2019-20. There is the growth of 23.30 percent over the expenditure in the last year 2018-19 which was Rs. 5,651 crores. The budget will be mostly spent into developing Delhi into a world class city. Proposals are also invited for developing vacant land in Dwarka.
