Division Level ITI Scheme for boys and girls of scheduled caste and Navbouddha introduced by the state government of Maharashtra in association with Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. Under this scheme, the government provides free residence, food, training of technical and vocational courses for SC & Navboudhha students. There are 12 technical and vocational courses are teaching in the government institute and all technical courses are observed and attached by National Professional Training Centre, New Delhi. All technical institutes are controlled by Director of Professional and Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. The purpose of the scheme to facilitate scheduled caste and Navbouddha students with technical and vocational courses in government I.T.I. institutes. The government has started this scheme because scheduled caste and Navbouddha students are not getting the education in the technical and professional course. This scheme helps to get employment after successful completion of course. The main objective of the scheme to uplift lives of scheduled cast & Navbouddha communities who are economically weak and below the poverty line. Eligibility for Division Level ITI Scheme for SC & Navbouddha Category Students:
- Applicant must belong to SC & Navbouddha Category
- Applicant should be resident of Maharashtra state
- Annual income of parents of the student should not be more than 2,00,000
- Candidate will be selected for hostel facilities on the basis of merit
