Duare Ration (ration at doorstep) Scheme

To provide assistance to the poor and needy people in the state amidst the ongoing pandemic.

On August 9, 2021, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee  government is about to launch Duare Ration (ration at doorstep) scheme for delivering ration at the doorstep of the eligible beneficiaries. This scheme is one of the poll promises of the ruling party. Under this scheme the beneficiaries will get ration at their doorstep through various ration shops. About 28 ration shops will be given the responsibility of delivering ration at the homes of the beneficiaries. Out of these 28 shops, 22 shops will be different districts and 6 shops will be in different cities in the state. This scheme aims to ensure ration to each and every person mainly covering the poor people in the state. The beneficiaries will get ration at their doorstep. This scheme will be a boon in these pandemic situations. The state government will launch this scheme in coming months.
