Financial Assistance Scheme to Startup/Innovation launched by Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat. The government of Gujarat has developed a policy for providing assistance to Startups. Under this scheme, any individual or group of individuals having an innovative idea will be eligible and Universities or Education Institutions, Incubation Centre/ PSUs/ R&D Institutions/ Private and other establishments will be eligible as an Institution to support and mentor to innovators. Under this scheme Rs. 10,000 per month will be provided to the innovator as sustenance allowance for one year whose project is recommended and approved by institution’s Screening Committee and Up to Rs. 10 lakhs assistance will be provided for Cost of Raw Material & other related equipment required for the innovative process for the new product development. All resident of Gujarat can apply to the scheme. To get details information of scheme candidate can visit nodal institute decided by the government.

- Assistance for Innovation:
- Under this scheme Rs. 10,000 per month to the innovator as sustenance allowance for one year

- Up to Rs. 5 lakhs assistance to the institution for mentoring services
- Under this scheme, institution will support to the innovator by providing mentor services
- Under this scheme, institution will allow the innovator to use facilities available in the institution for startups
Required eligibility and conditions applying for Financial Assistance Scheme to Startup/Innovation:
- All residents of Gujarat state is eligible under this scheme
- Any individual/group of individuals having innovative idea/Concept will be eligible
- Assistance to startups/innovation scheme’s operative period is 01 January 2015 to 31 December 2019

- Residence proof: Domicile certificate
- Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, branch name, account number
- Identity proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID
