Free Tablets and Smartphones Distribution Scheme

To provide tablets and smartphones for assisting the youth in their higher education thus ensuring their welfare.

UP state government has started ‘Free Tablets and Smartphones Distribution Scheme’ for youth in the state. CM Yogi Adityanath launched this scheme on December 25, 2021 marking the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna recipients former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. Under this scheme the state government will provide free laptops and smartphones to youth in the state along with facility of digital access and content free of cost. This scheme will promote digital education. This scheme intends to benefit about one crore youth of the state. Marking the start of this scheme free smartphones were distributed to 60000 youth in the state.
