Free UPSC Coaching for Maratha Students in Maharashtra

Maratha students to get free IAS classes in Delhi along with stipend of Rs. 13,000 per month

Maharashtra Government has announced Free UPSC Coaching for Maratha Students in Maharashtra. Meritorious students from the community will get given free UPSC classes in Delhi along with monthly stipend of Rs. 13,000 per month. Government will spend Rs. 4.3 lakh on each students. 225 meritorious students will be selected under the scheme. They all will get free coaching for civil services / IAS exams.

Government is also working on providing training in the field of tele-com also.

Interest Free Business Loan Scheme:

Maharashtra Government has also launched interest free loan scheme for youth in the state to help them start their business. They are given business loan upto Rs. 10 lakh & the interest on the loan is reimbursed by the government. 2,800 youth in the state have got such loans so far & started their ventures. The scheme is expected to create employment in the state & will also boost state economy. The scheme is now extended now. Now the loans can be taken from cooperative banks also. Earlier loans could be taken only from the nationalized banks.

Maharashtra Government has given reservation of 16% for the EBC families from the Maratha community. The reservation is applicable to the jobs & education. Students are also given subsidy on the education fees also.
