Gangajal Delivery Scheme Services has launched by Union Minister of Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad and state minister of communication Manoj Sinha. Under the scheme, the pious Gangajal, brought from Gangotri and Rishikesh, would be delivered at the doorsteps of people at nominal prices. Gangajal is one of the most important elements for every Indian Hindu family. It is used in puja, wedding or anything related to holy work in any Hindu family. The state of Bihar has taken a step forward to deliver Gangajal to all the families of the city Patna at their doorsteps via postal service. The entire delivery process will be done by the postal services of the state Bihar. Once you request for the Gangajal, the postman will deliver it at your doorstep at a nominal cost per liter. The main aim of the scheme is to provide holy Gangajal to each household where it is needed. As the river itself is getting polluted and damaged so the state government will help to get this unpolluted pious water from the holy place of the nation i.e. Rishikesh and Gangotri. Initially, the scheme started in the Bihar state and has plans to expand across the country

  2. The concerned local authorities would fill up the water in plastic bottles and then these plastic bottles will reach the various post offices in India
  3. If people want to get Gangajal, they have two options
  4. Either they can go to a post office themselves and collect the Gangajal or they can make a call and ask for home delivery. The charges for home delivery are a little higher though. But since you receive the Gangajal at your home, it is worth
