Green Fodder Production by Hydroponic Technology launched by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of India and implemented by Government of Maharashtra under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. The main objective of this scheme is to provide green fodder for animals in emergency situations. Under this scheme beneficiary farmer provided 25% financial assistance of total cost to establish unit required for the production of green fodder by hydroponic technology. The initiative encourages farmer to cultivate green fodder which can be used in the emergency situation to do so financial assistance is provided to establish Hydroponic Technology unit. All farmer resident of Maharashtra can apply to the scheme. More details and application form can be obtained at nearest Agriculture Office, Government of Maharashtra.
