Home delivery of medicines for veterans and serving military personnel

This is a new initiative under SeHAT through which the patient will get free home delivery of medicines at the doorstep.

On February 1, 2022 the Ministry of Defence has started home delivery of medicines for veterans and military personnel in Delhi. This facility is rolled out under the Services e-Health Assistance and Teleconsultation (SeHAT) scheme. SeHAT was launched by the ministry in May 2021. This is a platform where medical services are provided to the military personnel and their families. Medical services include medical consultations through video, audio and chat. It aims at providing patients with medical consultation at home without having to visit the hospital. Now onwards the personnel in Delhi will get the options of free home delivery and self-pick up of medicines. This initiative will assist the patients thereby providing them with necessary medicines directly at their doorstep.

Eligibility:

  • Patient must be a veteran/ serving military personnel.
  • He/ she must be staying in Delhi.

  • Medical History Details/ Previous reports (for consultation)

How to Apply:

  • Visit the official website @sehatopd.gov.in
  • Click on Registration tab on the home page.
  • Enter Mobile no., Aadhaar number and click on Send OTP option.
  • Get the details verified.
  • Login with the same registered mobile no.
  • Enter required details for consultation with the respective Doctor.
  • Download the prescription after consultation.
  • For availing home delivery/ self-pick up of medicines, select the suitable option thereby as per preference and submit.
