Horticulture Disease Consultation and Management Project launched by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of Maharashtra. The main objective of this scheme is to provide consultation to the farmer to protect Mango, Pomegranate, Banana, Orange, Mosambi and Chikku crop from insect, pest, diseases. Under this scheme, training is provided with the help of technology to the beneficiary to know what to do to control the pest and disease with 50% subsidy to buy medicines, fertilizers. The scheme encourages farmer towards Horticulture and protects farmer from loss by providing them proper consultation and management to save fruit crop from pest, insects. All farmer resident of Maharashtra can apply to the scheme. More details and application form can be obtained at nearest Agriculture Office, Government of Maharashtra.

Benefits of Horticulture Disease Consultation and Management Project:

• Scheme provides benefits to the Mango, Pomegranate, Banana, Orange, Mosambi, and Chikku crop grower farmer. Under this scheme, benefits are given in the form of financial assistance and consultation to protect crop from pest and disease
• Under this scheme, training is provided with the help of technology to the beneficiary to know what to do to control the pest and disease
• The training can be beneficial to protect mango, pomegranate, banana, orange, coconut, and Chikku from insects
• 50% subsidy will be provided by the taluka level to buy medicines, fertilizers

2. Mango, Pomegranate, Banana, Orange, Mosambi and Chikku grower farmer or farmer in horticulture
