Job Oriented Training Scheme is the initiative by Government of Tamil Nadu to increase jobs in the state. There are many individuals who are not enough skilled to gain jobs and hence increase in unemployment. To overcome this unemployment situation the scheme came into existence and is serving well by providing training to the unemployed Backward Class (BC)/Most Backward Class (MBC)/ Denotified Class (DNC) youths and making them enable grab a better job.
Benefits of Job Oriented Training Scheme:
- Skill training: As expressed above the scheme provides training with subsidy in the fees so that individual becomes skilled in minimum expenses
- Subsidy in the fees: Under the scheme the candidate has to pay only 10% of fees where as 90% is paid by government
Eligibility for Job Oriented Training Scheme:
- Candidate must be from BC/MBC/DNC category
- His/her family annual income must not exceed Rs. 50, 000 per year
- Candidate must be resident of Tamil Nadu
Documents Required:
- Complete application form
- Caste Certificate
- Address proof (e.g. Aadhar Card, Electricity bill, Gas connection receipt, Water supply bill or Voter id)
- Bank passbook having (bank name, branch name, account holder name, IFSC & MICR code)
- Educational qualification mark sheets, degrees and certificates
- Family income certificate
