Krishi Gurukul Yojana is the scheme by Maharashtra government under which farmers are given information about latest technologies by role model farmers in the field. Basically the scheme organizes the meetings where the farmer who already applied the techniques are invited for the guidance to the rest farmers who all can use the same and get benefitted. The scheme was announced in the 2016-2017 financial budget year and is active. Under the scheme there are many powerful actions which are tracked so intelligently that it is helping other farmers without including any third party. Krishi Gurukul Yojana will select 3 farmers from each district to share information among the fellow farmers. Up till now 1664 farmers volunteered and there is a lot more to come.

Eligibility for Krishi Gurukul Yojana:
- Only farmers are eligible for the scheme
- Must be a resident a Maharashtra state
Documents Required:
- Proof of residence (Electricity bill, Water connection bill, Gas connection bill, Ration card, Aadhar card, Voter card, Driving license)
- Aadhar card
- Ration card
- Agricultural land proof
Application form:
There are no such application forms. The selected farmers will have to organize such campaigns under which they will educate 25 other farmers voluntarily
