The Government of Telangana has announced Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) for unapproved layouts in Telangana. The objective of the scheme is to ease the process of application for the unapproved layouts and bring transparency in the layouts & land registrations in the state. The state government has developed a portal so that citizens can get the details of the application process for LRS along with various criterias for layout regularization along with documents required and fees for the Layout Regularisation Scheme for their layouts.
What is Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS)? The government is promoting planned development of the urban areas in the state so that basic infrastructure can such as roads, street lights, drainage systems can be developed across the cities uniformly. Illegal, unapproved layouts is a major hurdle in the infrastructure developments in the cities. Hence Telangana Government has launched the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) so that citizens are encouraged to regularize their unregistered or illegal lands/layouts.

The LRS scheme is implemented by the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, Directory of Town & Country Planning Govt. of Telangana. The department also organizes the Layout Regularisation Scheme Mela / LRS Mela frequently to help citizens with their queries and help in the application processes.

- Market value certificate of your plot
- Duly filled application form along with the documents mentioned at the time of the registration
- Clearances and NOCs from the concerned authorities such as Urban Land and Agriculture Land Ceiling Laws, Airport Authority/Defense Authorities of India etc

How to apply for Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS)?
STEP 1: CLICK HERE go to Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) official website and register yourself. Make sure your specify your working email and mobile number and correct details
STEP 2: CLICK HERE to login
STEP 3: Select your municipality
STEP 4: Click on LRS and New Application under menu
STEP 5: Fill in the form and provide required details
STEP 6: Print the completed application and download
STEP 7: Submit the application along with all the required documents mentioned in the Municipal Office/Help Center
STEP 8: The Municipal office will verify the application along with the documents and then allot application number to you, you will receive SMS
STEP 9: Then the application will go through various scrutiny and you will be updated via SMS
STEP 10: Upon the completion of the scrutiny pay the remaining amount
