Madhya Pradesh government has announced health insurance scheme for all its employees. The name of the scheme is MP Mukhyamantri Karamchari Swasthya Bima Yojana (MKSBY) / Health Insurance Scheme. Under this scheme 12 lakh 55 thousand government employees and their families wiil get free medical treatment. Each of the families will get medical facilities upto Rs.5 lakh for general treatment and upto Rs.10 lakh for critical diseases.

Eligibility Criteria:
- All regular MP government employees
- All contractual employees of the state government
- Teachers of the government institutes
- Retired employees of the Madhya Pradesh state govt
- Full-time employees getting salary from contingency fund
- Employees working in autonomous institutions of the state
The scheme ensures health care to all the state government employees & their families. The objective of the scheme is to provide support in case of illnesses/critical diseases in their families. The scheme is approved by the MP state cabinet on 4th Jan 2020.
