Mukhya Mantri Sohoj Griha Nirman Achoni, Assam

CMO Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the Mukhya Mantri Sohoj Griha Nirman Achoni on October 20, 2020. This scheme is introduced under Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority and Guwahati Municipal Corporation. Under this scheme, Guwahati residents can avail the permission of construction of residential buildings. This construction building up to a second floor and up to a plot area of 2 and half Katha online. CM also urged the real estate developers and architects in the state to promote the scheme. This scheme will enable quick and easy building construction permissions. It will ease the difficulties faced by the residents in the city. This will be a step towards making the city of Guwahati one of the most beautiful cities in the entire South East Asian Nations.

• Anyone possessing minimum 4 lechas i.e. 576 sq. ft. of land can apply for construction permission

• This scheme aims at structural development in the city
• Even a portal has been launched for easily allotting the no objection certificate related to construction and development

• Mukhya Mantri Sohoj Griha Nirman Achoni scheme is a scheme to liberate the construction permits
• Under the scheme the builders will now get easy registration and construction permits for constructing residential buildings
• Any person with more than 576 sq. ft. area of land will be eligible to apply construction permits
• The process has been made simple
• Digital medium is used for the application process and welfare thereby
• For availing the permit, interested residents can visit mmsgna.in and register on the portal and apply for the same
• Even the non-objection certificates for selling lands will be provided easily
• A high-powered committee will also be formed for implementation
