The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath is going to launch Namami Gange Yojana for cleaning Yamuna River. Namami Gange Yojana in Uttar Pradesh will launch with the inspiration of “Namami Devi Narmade Sewa Yatra” of Madhya Pradesh. Under Namami Gange Yojana in Uttar Pradesh, the main focus is to clean various rivers of the state like Yamuna River, Gandak River, and Rapti River and protect it from industrial pollution and other waste things. This programme will start with an aim to conserve Narmada River and to clean and protect the Rivers in the state. Namami Ganga Yojana is an ambitious Union Government Project which integrates the efforts to clean and protect the Ganga River in a comprehensive manner. Now, in this Namami Gange Yojana in Uttar Pradesh, the government will start organizing awareness campaign in various districts and villages in Uttar Pradesh for the conservation of Yamuna River, Gandak River, and Rapti River & government also aware people about uses of Yamuna River by providing information about river through Namami Ganga. The main objective of this scheme is to treat wastewater in drains, treatment of wastewater use by innovative technologies and improving River and forest ecosystem. Yogi Adityanath will start various programme for cleaning like Yamuna River, Gandak River, and Rapti River
