The National Commission for Women has launched a new website ncw.nic.in The NCW portal provides the information about women rights, various laws & acts. More importantly the NCW portal allows women to register the complaint online & check status on the complaint online. The portal is launched by the chairperson NCW Rekha Sharma.
What is National Commission for Women? NCW is the statutory body affiliated to the Government of India. They advice governments on the policy matters related to women in the country. Women across the country can register their complaint related to harassments, sexual misconduct, domestic violence etc to the NCW (Rashtriya Mahila Aayog).
The NCW is established based on the National Commission for Women Act 19190. It was established in January 1992.

STEP 1: CLICK HERE to go to the NCW portal
STEP 2: Put your mouse cursor over main menu New Application > Complaints > Online Complaint Registration
STEP 3: You will be taken to the Complaints Registration and Monitoring System, read all the instructions on the page completely & then click on Click here for registration of complaint
STEP 4: National Commission for Women complaint registration form will open as shown below:
STEP 5: Fill in the form completely, provide all the details precisely such as complainant, victim & respondent`s details, complaint & incident details, enter CAPTCHA & click on Submit button
STEP 6: You will be provided registration / receipt number please make a not of it as it will be required for further reference

STEP 2: Put your mouse cursor over main menu New Application > Complaints > Status of Complaint Filed
STEP 3: Login with your username & password
STEP 4: Then provide your registration / receipt number to know the Rashtriya Mahila Aayog complaint status online
