National Digital Library of India is Repository integrates contents from different Indian Institutional Repositories, Ministry of Human Resource and Development Government of India has launched National Digital Library with the contribution of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur. This HRD’s unique initiative provides more than 68 lakh books of several fields. The main aim of the project is to create a knowledge base for students belonging to all ages, explained Partha Pratim Das, a joint project investigator, and professor at the computer science and engineering department. Besides educational institutes, NDL collaborated with the Indian Space Research Organisation and the Defence Research and Development Organisation. ISRO is regularly making their educational content available online as other documents

Now, Books can not become obstacles in the thrust of knowledge, cause with the help of National Digital Library one can read the books from class first to the Ph.D. level. It provides books of IIT, IIM, NCERT, Medical, NPTEL, Agriculture, Social Science, Research Peper and much more
