The Navachetana scheme is started by Karnataka government (Social Welfare Department) for providing training to unemployed scheduled castes youths in various trades, crafts like Carpentry, Smithing, Fitters, Turners, Welders, Gear Cutting, Flute milling, Lathe, Automobile, Garments, hotel industry, Leather industry, IT sector, Hardware sector, TV repairs, Home appliances repairs, screen printing etc. depending upon the qualification of the candidate and also to acquire necessary skills for employment opportunities. Training will be provided through Government, semi-Government, Public sector, and reputed private sector organizations
Benefits of Navachetana Scheme:
- The candidate is participating in Navachetana scheme will provide necessary skills to unemployed youth so they would able to get employment opportunities and free or less cost training education from government, semi-government, public sector and reputed private sector organizations
Required eligibility and conditions for applying Navachetana Scheme:
- Candidate must be a scheduled caste (SC) unemployed youth
- Candidate must have registered his name in the local employment exchange
- Candidate must be within the age group 18 to 35 years
- Candidate should not have already undergone training in any other government agencies
- Candidate must not be a student
Application procedure and documents required for applying Navachetana Scheme:
Documents:
- Caste certificate stating that the candidate belongs to SC
- Identity proof
- Aadhar card
- Documents which stating candidates education qualification e.g. Degree, Diploma certificate
- Residence proof e.g. certificate from someone residence authority, electricity bill
