Why do we need to issue cotton seed dealer license?
License means to give permission. Cotton Seed Dealer License allows people to sell cotton seeds to the consumer. It means for selling cotton seed the license is required
Documents required applying for seed selling license:
- Note: All the documents submitted by applicant should be duly attested by gazetted officer or notary
- Applicant Details with photo
- Morphological character – Proforma I
- Declaration of refugia – Proforma II
- Annual Marketing Plan – Proforma III
- Yield Data – Proforma VI
- Notarized copy of name of responsible person – Proforma V
- Production plan Detail Annexure – A
- Affidavit
- GEAC approval Letter
- Sample of Packing Material
- Copy of Leaflets
- If co-marketing (a) co-marketing agreement notarized copy, (b) Notarized license copy of producer company, (c) Seed production programme of producer, (d) Annual marketing plan
- Plan for Bt-based Integrated Pest Management for Cotton
- Variety wise “Simple Sequence Report(SSR) Primers No.” and sequence
- Challan of Rs. 500
- Undertaking regarding information of package of practices

Online procedure to apply for new seed selling or dealer license:
- Applicant needs to visit Aaple Sarkar official website. Click next link to visit Aaple Sarkar website Click to Visit Aaple Sarkar Website
- Post visiting this link a window will appear which will look like the same image posted below. Then click on Right to Service (RTS) button
- The next window will appear which will look like the second image posted below
- Then click on login or create new user account. Once it created a login using credentials. Window will appear which will look like posted image below
- Then search for Agriculture tab and click on it. Then click on Select department and click on The image will appear which will look posted image below
- Click on New Cotton License. A window will show list, which be must read carefully and click on Submit. Then a window will appear which will application form fill it carefully and submit. Your online application procedure is complete
- Post that in future you can use this account for other processes like checking of Application status, Printing of Application forms, Renewal application etc
Fees:
- 500 pay online through grass website applicant can pay online
