Odisha Government launched Odia Virtual Academy (OVA) website ova.gov.in to preserve and promote Odia language. The OVA portal is launched by the Odisha CM Shri. Naveen Patnaik. The Odia Virtual Academy portal provide various precious Odia language resources such as books, library, magazines, dictionary, information on cultural dance, music and Odia art. The portal also support translation to Odia language. Odia is primary language of Odisha and CM feels that it is important to preserve the language to preserve the culture and heritage. Odia language is the pride and dignity of the state according to the CM Patnaik.
The ova.gov.in – Odia Virtual Academy (OVA) website has OVA webinars, virtual classes on Odia, online certification courses, Odia fonts, softwares, blog and links to various popular Odia websites and resources. The portal presents Odia as the language of knowledge and science and used by the generations.
