Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar introduced by the government of India for farmers. This award implemented under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The government of India has instituted Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar for recognizing the contributions of marginal, small and landless farmers for developing integrated and sustainable models of agricultural farming. This award includes one award at national level comprising Rs.1 lakh cash and 11 zonal awards comprising of Rs. 50 thousand each along with a citation and certificate. The award is given to a farmers who actively engaged in one or more agricultural activities such as the farmers who have contributed significantly towards development of sustainable and integrated farming models, resource-conserving/ cost effective farming technologies/ package of practices, Livestock, and fish based integrated farming system models, Commendable works are done in farm waste management, Diversification of farms as sustainable and profitable units, Developing value chains/ market linkages, Developing new innovations in any field of Agriculture, Developing vertical farming module etc. small, marginal and landless farmers who are engaged in farming or farming related activities for the last ten years and actively engaged in one more farming activities are eligible for Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar

- Benefits of 1,00,000/- cash, a citation and Award Certificate for Annual National Level farmers
- Benefits of 50,000/- a citation and Award for 11 Zonal Level in India for farmers
Eligibility for Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar:
- Small, marginal and landless farmers are eligible for this award
- A women farmers also eligible for this award
- Farmers who are engaged in farming or farming related activities for the last ten years are eligible for this award
- Farmers actively engaged in one or more agricultural activities are eligible for Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar
Documents Required for Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar:
- Applicant Aadhaar card
- Applicant bank account details
- Applicant passport size photos
Procedure for Nominations:
- The award will strictly base on the nominations of suitable candidates in prescribed format for the award
- The prescribed format for the award forwarded by Vice-chancellor/Director of Extension of Agricultural University/ Director of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Institute/ATARI Director
- One individual may not nominate more than two farmers and the Recommendations may only be made in respect of the farmers within the jurisdiction of the University/ Institute/ ATARI concerned
- Then application for nominations should be sent to ADG(Coordination), The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi
- All the nominations thus received for Award Judging by Committee and decide the award on merit
- The National Award will also be decided from amongst the Zonal Award winners
