Parikshitlal Majmudar Scholarship launched by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. A scheme introduced with an aim to encourage Scheduled caste girl students to continue their higher studies post SSC. As we know the importance of education. An initiative of Gujarat government helping many scheduled castes in the state to complete pre-matric education. Under this scheme, students are provided financial assistance as per respective standard. The Scheduled Caste students of the poor family often fail to complete pre-matric education due to weaker economic family background thus such students fail to attend higher education too. All scheduled caste students resident of Gujarat can avail benefits under this scheme. Benefits of Parikshitlal Majmudar Pre-SSC Scholarship in Gujarat:
- Parikshitlal Majmudar Scholarship has introduced with a view to encouraging Scheduled caste students to continue their higher studies. The scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance and other. Benefits are mentioned below in details
- Students studying in class 1st to 4th will get Rs. 150 yearly
- Students studying in class 5th to 10th will get Rs. 200 yearly
Required eligibility and conditions applying for Parikshitlal Majmudar Scholarship:
- Students resident of Gujarat are eligible
- Students belong to scheduled class are eligible
- Students of Pre-SSC are eligible
- No income limits
