Andhra Pradesh government has come up with a housing scheme named ‘Pedalandariki Illu’ for distributing housing sites free of cost to the people belonging to lower economic background in the state. This scheme is under the Navaratnalu programme of the government. Last week, CMO Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy gave directions to the officials, district collectors through video conference, to finish the preparatory work related to distribution of housing sites under the scheme. This housing scheme will lead to infrastructural development in the state, at the same time it will create new employment opportunities thereby.
