Caste certificate is an actual identity of someone’s caste according to the constitution of India.The caste certificate is a proof for the holding candidate that he/she belong to that particular community, religion or caste which has mentioned on that certificate. The government knows that the all the citizens of India have same right to grow with same ratio and speed along with other peoples. So for that purpose Government starts to provide a certificate to the peoples of India for their own caste. A citizen in India has got the reservation and all such facilities on the basis of caste certificate. So the detail procedure for Application of caste certificates in Madhya Pradesh is as given below.
Eligibility for Application of Caste Certificate:
- Applicant should be Resident of Madhya Pradesh State
- Applicant must come under SC/ST category for which he is Applying
Required Documents:
- Application Form Caste Certificate Certificate
- Proof of Identity (Voter id Card / Driving License / Passport / Aadhaar Card / PAN card)
- Proof of Address (Voter ID Card / Passport / Driving License / Electricity Bill / Water Bill / Electricity Bill / Rent Receipt / Ration Card / Property Tax Receipt / Bank Passbook)
- Caste certificate of any family member
- For married women, caste proof before marriage is required
- If applicant migrated from other state/district then caste certificate of applicant’s father issued by competent authority is required
- In case of conversion of religion then proof of caste before conversion
Required Information for application of caste certificate:
- Name of the Applicant in full (in Block Letters)
- Sex of the Applicant
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Present Postal Address
- Permanent place of residence
- Age, Date of Birth and Place of Birth (if date is not known approx., Year of Birth)
- Community for which certificate is claimed (including Sub-Group)
- Caste (including sub-caste) of the father
- Caste (including sub-caste) of the mother
- Religion professed by the applicant
- Religion professed by the father of the applicant
- Religion professed by the mother of the applicant
- Whether the applicant is a natural born son or daughter of his/her parents OR Adopted son/daughter of his/her parents
Application Procedure:
- For issuing caste certificate Applicant should visit the official website of Madhya Pradesh Government: http://mpedistrict.gov.in/Public/index.aspx
- After that applicant will see the following Image
- After going on that site Applicant has to click on SC/ST caste certificate which is present under the Available Services Section
- Post applicant will see the following image
- Then after Applicant can see Download application form option on the Upper right side of the image where applicant has to click for form
- After getting the form, next need to fill it properly with all required and relevant details. Check all details in form after filling application form completely
- Now attach required and relevant documents with application form. All required are to be submitted with form
- Proceed to concerned authority office and submit your application with all required documents and fee charges to obtain caste certificate. The concerned officer verifies all details in form and documents. After all verification, he will issue caste certificate
- The department sends a notification on your registered mobile number or email id. If no notification is received then visit concerned office after prescribed time limit to collect caste certificate
Fee for the Caste Certificate:
- Applicant should have to pay Rs. 5 as stamp fee charges for applying for caste certificate
