Income certificate refers to a certificate which contains all the details of the annual income of persons or families from all sources. A person can apply for the certificate for any general purpose or any scholarship purpose but most of the engineering student furnish it for the purpose of fee-reimbursement. The income certificate will be valid for a period of one year after being issued. A student who needs to apply for the scholarship may need to apply for Income certificate every year. Income Certificates states the different sources of income of an individual. Income certificate is often one of the application requirements to be a beneficiary of various civic welfare schemes

Who can apply for Income Certificate in Goa?

  1. Anyone who is citizen of Goa state can apply for Income certificate

Required Information for the application of Income certificate:

  1. Name of the Applicant
  2. Father/Husband’s Name
  3. Sex (M/F)
  4. Residential Address
  5. Purpose for which the certificate is required
  6. Monthly Salary Certificate
  7. Ration Card No
  8. PAN card no

Documents Needed for Income Certificate:

  1. PAN card is compulsory
  2. Income proof / salary slip / bank statement etc.
  3. Age proof/school leaving certificate/birth certificate
  4. Address proof / ration card / bank passbook / passport
  5. ID proof / voter ID card / driving license / Aadhar card
  6. Passport size photos to affix in the application form
  7. It belongs to the minority community then caste certificate
  8. Note: Documents only .pdf file max size 50KB

Application Procedure:

  1. Go to official e-Services Portal of Goa click link mentioned below https://egov.goa.nic.in/niceservices/Municipal/incomeApplication.aspx
  2. First, fill online application form with relevant information
  3. Once you have filled in all the relevant details, upload the documents required and submit the form
  4. Once you have submitted your application form and received a notification regarding your Application
  5. The applicant is requested to retain the Application Reference Number that shall be provided on successful submission of the application. The status of the same shall be made available through SMS/Email
  6. Then you will be called or income certificate will be sent to mentioned address

Fee for the Income Certificate:

  1. The application fee is close to Rs. 15/- per certificate
