The Government of Sikkim has started online e-district project portal through which government allows its citizen to avail several services provided by the Sikkim state government. With the help of this portal candidate can apply for several certificates e.g. ST certificate, Income etc. This procedure gives you detail information about how to apply for ST certificate in Sikkim.
What is ST Certificate: ST Certificate is proof, which ensures that the particular candidate belongs to Scheduled Tribe category
Who can apply for ST Certificate in Sikkim:
- Applicant who is resident of Sikkim state
- Applicant who is born in Sikkim state
- Applicant who belongs to ST category
Documents required for application of ST Certificate in Sikkim:
- Identity Proof
- Citizenship Proof of Self/Father
- Father-Child Relationship Proof
- Recommendation(e.g. Panchayat/Councilor/MLA Recommendation)
- Application Fee Proof
- Passport Size Photograph
- Other Documents may be required
Application Procedure to obtain ST Certificate in Sikkim :
STEP 1: Applicant should visit official website of Sikkim Government: (http://bit.ly/2haUsoK)
STEP 2: If Applicant not already registered with this portal, then he must register himself first, click Here for step by step Registration procedure on official portal of Sikkim. After successful Registration come back to home page of Sikkim government where you have to click on the ST Certificate present in Launched Services section
STEP 3: You will be taken to the next page, here click on Apply for Service
STEP 4: On this page click on online button
STEP 5: Once you click on online button, you will see Login portal now specify User name and password(If registered otherwise register first) mention verification character and click on Submit
STEP 6: You will switched on application form, Specify required information in the application form such as Application processing Location, Applicant Details, Address, upload photo and signature, additional detail etc. enter verification word and click on Submit button
STEP 7: You are requested to download the acknowledgment slip and bring the same along with your original documents and bank receipt for further processing and verification of your application on or after successful application submission.
STEP 8: Now you must follow the further flow till the completion of remaining application
