A Driving Licence is an official document certifying that the holder is suitably qualified to drive a motor vehicle. The Government of Madhya Pradesh decided to provide Driving License to the people of Madhya Pradesh. Driving License is a type permit to the people to Drive vehicle. For getting Driving License Applicant has to submit required information and required Documents which is mention below in the procedures. Candidates can easily obtain the Driving License using following information.
Eligibility for Application to Issue Driving License:
- Applicant should be Resident of Madhya Pradesh State
- The minimum age of candidate to apply for a Driving license should be 18 years
- Applicant should have valid learner’s license
- Applicant should apply after 30 days and within 180 days from the date of issuance of learner’s license
Required Documents:
- Learners Licence
- Appropriate fees specified in Rule 32 for the Test of competence to drive and issue Licence
- Three copies of the applicant’s recent passport size photographs
- A driving certificate in form 5 issued by the School on establishment from where the applicant received instructions if any
Required Information for Issuing Driving License:
- Name of Applicant
- Applicant Address
- Fathers name
- Mothers Name
- Identity Card
- Contact Details
Application Procedure:
- For Issuing Driving License Applicant should visit the official website of Madhya Pradesh Government: http://mis.mptransport.org/MPLogin/eSewa/VehicleSearch.aspx
- After that applicant will see the following Image
- For New License, click on Vehicle Registration Search
- After click on Vehicle Registration Search user will see the following image
- Fill the application forms appropriately and make payments. You will be provided with an appropriate reference number which you have to save it for future reference
- You will be requested to present yourself with a vehicle which you will have to drive in the presence of the examiner
- if the examiner is satisfied with your driving skills and your knowledge about the vehicle, you will be provided with a driving license
Validity:
- A Driving License for a private vehicle is valid up to a period of 20 yrs or an age of 50 But for commercial Driving License is valid up to three years
Fee for Issuing Driving License:
- Fee of 50 for each category of Vehicle applied
- Fee of 200 for Smart Card
