The Government of Punjab started a digital online portal by inspiring the vision of Digital India to facilitate the peoples of Punjab. With the help of this online portal candidates can obtain caste certificate to SC or several other important certificates which they want to obtain. Candidates can easily obtain the desired certificate with so much of ease. Candidate can avail SC certificate using the online application. SC Certificate is the proof of one’s belonging to a particular caste. For Obtaining SC Certificate Applicant has to submit required information and required Documents which is mention below in the procedures. So, the detail procedure for Obtaining SC Certificate in Punjab is as given below.

 Eligibility to Apply for Caste Certificate to SC  In Punjab:

1. Applicant must be the resident of Punjab state
2. Applicant must belong to SC category

Required Documents:

1. Copy of Residence Proof
2. Copy of Verification Leaf
3. Copy of Proof of Age
4. Copy of Ration Card
5. Copy of Self Declaration’s form
6. 

Online Application Procedure:

1. Applicant should visit following website: http://punjab.gov.in/caste-certificate-sc
2. 
3. Here applicant will see Caste Certificate to SC apply online so, here applicant must click on that he will switch to next page
4. 
5. On the State Portal of Punjab, click on Citizen Login link
6. If you are a new user, click on “New User” link, else login with your Username and Password
7. After logging in for the first time, the user will be asked to update their profile. Please update it
8. Click on “Fresh Application” link in the left menu
9. On the next screen, all Department wise services are listed. Choose Caste Certificate to SC to apply for and click the “Apply” link next to the service
10. On the Fresh Application screen, go to Alternative section and click on “Click here to fill the application form online” link
11. Fill the form and click “Submit“
12. Click “View Saved Application” link, select the application and click “Upload Supporting Documents” button
13. Upload the supporting documents

Offline Application Procedure:

1. Applicant may apply offline for Caste Certificate to SC in Punjab
2. Applicant can download the required application form using following website: https://govinfo.me/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Caste-Certificate-SC.pdf

4. Applicant should download application form at the same time candidate must fill it and attached required documents will be submitted to the concerned authority
