On January 4, 2022 Punjab state cabinet headed by CM Charanjit Singh Channi approved Punjab Government Rozgar Guarantee for Youth (PRAGTY) Scheme. It is aimed to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth in the state. Under this scheme the state government will provide employment along with necessary skill training. The state government also tends to provide self-employment opportunities, coaching for competitive examinations, foreign study opportunities to the youth. This scheme aims to ensure welfare of the youth of the state.
