Chhattisgarh government are planning to launch a new scheme for former. Name of The scheme is Rajiv Gandhi Kisaan Nyay Yojana (राजीव गांधी किसान न्याय योजना). This scheme will be lunched on 21st May 2020 on the death anniversary of former PM Rajiv Gandhi. As per the scheme government will provide Rs.10,000 per acre to the former. The money will be deposited directly into the farmers bank accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). It is agriculture input grants scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Scheme is applicable for farmer only
- Scheme is applicable for Chhattisgarh state only
- Scheme is applicable only for crops like , maize, paddy and sugarcane (Rabi)
The amount will be decided base on 2019 kharip registrations. The decision is taken by the cabinet headed by Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel.
