Rajiv Swagruha Scheme (RSS)

Not every person in the society is enough capable to buy a home of his own. There are many hurdles in doing so, sometimes money and sometimes property becomes the problem. To overcome the problems faced by poor and middle class families in owing a house of their own government of Andhra Pradesh launched the scheme named Rajiv Swagruha Scheme (RSS). Under the scheme flats and houses are provided at very affordable prices. The houses are constructed in such a way that it has all basic infrastructure which is essential for modern living. The motive of the government is to provide the housing which is 25% less than what it is in market at present and hence the scheme provides costing in the range of Rs. 1635/- per SFT to Rs. 2500/- per SFT and market surveys says that up to Rs. 2500/- per SFT cost is affordable by everyone.

  • Houses at low price: The scheme ensures that houses provided under the scheme is 25% less than market value
  • Covers wide population: The scheme is designed in such a manner that it covers people from poor to middle class
  • Prevention of fraud: Due to scheme and its manual application procedure prevents fraudulent activities
  • Bulk release of results: Simultaneously multiple can apply and it’s lucky draw system. Last year 1, 76, 067 applications were received  

Eligibility for Rajiv Swagruha Scheme:

  1. Any person with income range Rs. 6000 per month to Rs. 50, 000 per month is eligible
  2. No residence criterion
  3. Most flats and houses have no criterion of income limit

Documents Required:

  1. Aadhar card
  2. Passport size photographs
  3. Ration Card
  4. Income Certificate
  5. Complete application form

To apply for the scheme applicant need to submit an online application form from following link http://www.rajivswagruhaap.gov.in/cis/index.php?action=eApplication by processing online payment of Rs. 250/- for the form.
