Saraswati Sadhna Yojna

Saraswati Sadhna Yojna is the scheme by Government of Gujrat which has a motive of empowering women by endorsing girls to take education. The scheme enables the school to provide free bicycles only to girls belonging to SC, ST & OBC category. Apart from this bicycle scheme also take care of nutritional requirement of girl child. It is the scheme administered by Ministry of Women & Child Development of govt. of India.

Benefits of Saraswati Sadhna Yojna:

• 1500 per girl child: The scheme provide Rs. 1500 per girl child to buy a bicycle and never avoid education because of non-accessibility of modes of transport
• Free food: The scheme also make sure no girl child remains deprived of nutritional requirements
• Assurance of higher education: Scheme also assure that girl child gets well quality education after her 8^th grade by providing free food and education

Eligibility for Saraswati Sadhna Yojna:

1. Candidate should be an Indian National
2. Girl must be from SC, ST or OBC category
3. Girl child must be below 8^th grade
4. Girl must be from Below Poverty Line

1. Caste Certificate
2. Birth Certificate
3. Aadhar Card (Girl’s, Father’s)
4. BPL card
5. Income Certificate
6. Previous Years education pass mark sheet

Since the scheme is active in all schools where girls get educated, so the girl child can  straight way apply for the scheme via school itself
