Scholarship/Merit Scholarship (Class 1 to 12) for student SC/ST/OBC/Min. Students are the scholarship for the students who are in their schooling period i.e. from STD. 1st to 12th. Under the scheme, there are certain conditions which have to be satisfied in order to grab the scholarship.
Benefits of Scholarship/Merit Scholarship (Class 1 to 12) for SC/ST/OBC/MIN Student:
- SC/ST/OBC 1st to 3rd: Student of this category does not require any marks to get the scholarship and the amount of scholarship is Rs. 1000 per year
- OBC 6th to 8th: Student whose percentage is between 55% and 60% will get Rs. 600 scholarship and the one scoring more than 60% will get Rs. 720 scholarship
- SC/ST/OBC/Min. 9th & 10th: Student whose percentage is between 55% and 60% will get Rs. 1620 scholarship and the one scoring more than 60% will get Rs. 2040 scholarship
- SC/ST/OBC/Min. 11th & 12th: Student whose percentage is between 55% and 70% will get Rs. 3000 scholarship and the one scoring more than 70% will get Rs. 4500 scholarship
Eligibility for Scholarship/Merit Scholarship (Class 1 to 12) for SC/ST/OBC/MIN Student:
- Applicant should be from SC/ST/OBC/Minority category
- Applicant should be resident of Delhi, living in Delhi for last three years
- There is no income limit for SC/ST candidates to get scholarship
- Family annual income of candidates from OBC/Min. categories must not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per year
- Bank account should be in the name of student (joint account are allowed)
- Repeaters in particular class are not eligible for the scheme
Documents Required:
- Complete application form
- Resident proof (EPIC card, Aadhar Number, Ration Card, Landline telephone bill by MTNL, Driving License issued by GNCTD, Domicile certificate issued by SDM or Bank passbook of Nationalize banks)
- Attested copy of Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) in student’s/father’s name issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner
- In case of minority student, the declaration by parent/guardian on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10)
- Salary slip in case-parent/guardian is govt. employee and Income certificate by SDM of Delhi in case-parent/guardian is self-employed or working in the private sector
- Original fee receipt
- Previous year mark sheets
- Non-creamy layer certificate
- Aadhar card
