There are ample of schemes for reserved categories which are meant for the welfare of the community, but general category candidates have few, and one those few scheme is the Scholarship Scheme for Students Who Belong to General Poor Family under which students from open category who are poor will get financial assistance to carry on their medical education. Under the scheme some conditions are set on basis of income and educational criteria and the students satisfying those conditions will be eligible for the scheme. Since medical college can be a huge burden on pockets of parents, students can reduce little bit stress of finances by performing well in previous exams.

Eligibility for Scholarship Scheme For Students Who Belong To General Poor Family:
- Student must be the resident of Madhya Pradesh state
- Family/Guardian annual income should not be more than Rs. 75, 000
- Family should not have land more than 10 acre
- Student must have scored 80% and above in his previous examination
Documents Required:
- Residential Proof (electricity bill, water connection bill, gas connection bill, ration card, voter id, Aadhar card, pan card or driving license)
- Aadhar Card
- Age Proof (Birth Certificate/Board Certificate)
- Bank passbook having (bank name, branch name, account holder name, IFSC & MICR code)
- Passport size photographs (keep more than one copy)
- 12th Standard mark sheet
- Income Certificate of family
- Property documents (Sale deed, Sanction Plan, etc.)

To apply for the scheme student has to take application form from the college itself and submit it to the principal/Dean of the college.
