Spray drip irrigation scheme called Tushar Thimbak Yojna launched by the state government of Maharashtra for tribal farmers. The scheme is implemented by Zilla Parishad agriculture department of Maharashtra for the farmers live in tribal areas in Maharashtra state. Under this scheme, the state government provide 50% assistance to tribal farmers for land up to 2 hectares with maximum 20,500/- cash limit, 35% assistance to tribal farmers for land 2 to 6 hectares with maximum 14,350/- cash limit and 30% assistance to tribal farmers for land more than 6 hectares with maximum 12,250/- cash limit to farmers. Water is the largest component in agriculture for farmers. The state government of Maharashtra started subsidy for Spray drip irrigation in 1986-87 for tribal farmers. Maharashtra government has aimed to provide Spray drip irrigation scheme for water conservation, to increase agriculture production, to get appropriate use of water for agriculture. A farmer belongs to Scheduled Tribe are eligible for the Spray drip irrigation scheme. In this scheme, Water resources and water availability are compulsory to get benefit for Spray drip irrigation scheme
Benefits of Tushar Thimbak Sinchan Yojana:
- Benefits of 50% subsidy for land up to 2 hectares
- Benefits of 35% subsidy for land up to 2 to 6 hectares
- Benefits of 30% subsidy for land more than 6 hectares
Eligibility applying for Tushar Thimbak Sinchan Yojana:
- A Farmer belongs to scheduled tribe are eligible for this scheme
- A Farmer should have own agriculture land
- A Farmer who has Water resources and water availability on the farm is eligible for Spray drip irrigation

- Applicant Aadhaar card
- Applicant 7/12
- Applicant caste certificate
- Applicant bank account details
Application procedure:
- A farmer should contact block development officer, Taluka Panchayat Committee and Zilla Parishad agriculture officer for application procedure
