State Level Awards for Improvement in Sex Ratio launched by Ministry of Women and Child Development, (Health Department) Government of Haryana. This scheme is specifically launched for women empowerment. The main objective of this scheme to improve the maximum sex ratio or welfare of women. Under this scheme, various districts that have shown maximum improvement in the sex ratio will be awarded the cash incentive i.e. Rs. 5 lakhs, Rs 3 lakhs and Rs. 2 lakhs respectively will be given to the districts as standing 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd respectively. The amount will be spent by the district administration on the welfare of women. More information about the scheme can be obtained from women and child department, the government of Haryana. Benefits of State Level Awards:

• A scheme provides benefits in the form of cash incentive or financial assistance
• The top three districts have shown maximum improvement in sex ratio is awarded the prize or cash incentive
• For 1^st Rank: Rs. 5 lakhs
• For 2^nd Rank: Rs. 3 lakhs
• For 3^rd Rank: Rs. 2 lakhs

Required eligibility and conditions applying for State Level Awards:

1. District of Haryana can participate or can be beneficiary of Award
2. Various districts within the state will be given an award on the basis of an improvement in data/figures related to sex ratio
3. The name of the districts that have shown maximum improvement in the sex ratio will be awarded the cash incentive

Required documents applying for State Level Awards:

1. Since scheme does not provide benefit to individual it demands no documents
2. Participant district has to submit required document in order to show improvement in sex ratio
3. Note: Scheme may take other documents please confirm

Application procedure applying for State Level Awards:

1. The scheme does not provide benefit to individual that’s why there is no application procedure, but beneficiary districts are chosen on the basis of improvement in sex ratio of district
2. For the awards, a performa has been devised by the Department of Health
3. The various districts will compete for these awards under the personal leadership of the Deputy Commissioners
