Telangana government launched ‘Rythu Bandhu’ scheme i.e., ‘Agriculture Investment Support Scheme’ in the year 2018 for the farmers across the state. This scheme is mainly launched for assisting the farmers in all their farming investments for the start like seeds, fertilizers, farming tools, etc. It aims at giving financial support to the framers thereby protecting them from the vicious circle of debt. Under this scheme, initially each farmer used to get a grant of Rs. 4000/- per acre twice every year pertaining to once each season (Rabi and Kharif). Now the amount has been increased to Rs. 5000/- per acre per season.
